July's Drink - Redneck
This is the perfect drink for chillin on a hot July afternoon. This drink is just asking for a backyard, a bug zapper and a boom box play the Allman Brothers. And given that it is July and the heat index is over 100 right now, I don't feel like mixing up much else. Ladies and gentleman, the redneck:
Ingredients:
* Southern Comfort
* Mountain Dew
Mix about 1 part SoCo for 2 parts Dew, preferably in a mason jar. There's no need to get too scientific with this - just pour it in until you say "when". This is a great drink for when falling down is socially acceptable. And the beauty is, it's such a simple drink you can probably make it right now.
Cool Pitcher
This ingenious polycarbonate pitcher, 60 ounces (1.8 liter) offers a great way to keep your drinks on ice while outside on the patio! The white tubing you see in the middle there has a screw cap on the bottom of the pitcher. Simply unscrew this cover, fill with ice, and you now have a all the cool with none of the water in your beer!!! WHAT A GREAT IDEA! This pitcher is great for picnics, bbqs, or even as lemonade in the center of the dinner table.
