NewYorkBarStore.com's Newsletter - September.

Welcome!  We hope you enjoy this month's NewYorkBarStore.com ( http://www.newyorkbarstore.com/ ) Newsletter

This September, we would like to take a time out to recognize the noblest of drinking pursuits, Beer Pong.  With dorms filling up nation wide and cans of KeyStone and Natty Light cracking, a game of Beirut is just around the corner.

We've heard your cries for more beer pong supplies, and we are now proud to say that we have you covered with everything but the beer!  We have added a new lineup of beer pong tables from BJ's Beer Pong, produce of top quality beer pong tables in a variety of exciting designs.  We have as well added the PortoPong , an inflatable beer pong surface that you can store and transport with you anywhere, allowing you to play on any flat surface, suspended from the ceiling or even floating in a pool!  And of course the old favorites are still available – the original Get Bombed beer pong system , the extra balls and cups reload , and a full line up of beer pong tshirts as well.

Caipirinha Cocktail

This may be the last month I get to do a summer drink, so mine as well go out with a bang.  This months drink is the Caipirinha (let me help you there – pronounced kai-pee-reen-yah ).  This is like the Mojito's evil twin brother, and is the national drink of Brazil.

* 2 tsp. granulated sugar
* 2 1/2 oz cachaça
* 1 lime, cut in wedges

Muddle lime and sugar in an old fashion glass.  Fill glass with ice cubes and pour cachaça into the glass; stir well.  Garnish w/lime and sugar cane if available

In some areas, the cachaça (pronounced ka-shaa-sa) may be difficult to find, but here is a good source for one of favorites, Cabana - http://www.cabanacachaca.com/find.asp?sellertype=2.  If you cant put your hands on some cachaca you can substitute a decent white rum, such as Appleton White, but its not gonna be quite the same!
