First, it has an aggressive waffle base, with almost double the surface area than a standard wooden muddler. Add this size to its aggressive waffle treads and it makes sort work of your whatever fruit you apply it to.

Second, at 12 inches in length its larger than other muddling sticks, so you'll have the power to grip it with your whole hand, as opposed to twist it with your fingers as you would with a standard size muddler.
